Ponder the reason you're even doing this, accepting the invite. Surely it's not worth this terrible drive you could just go home.

It's not like there's a reason to meet with them again. Not after what happened last time.
After what they did and what you did it's a surprise you got an invite at all.

Surely there must be a Logical reason calling you there.
